Getting Graphic (And Six Other Things)

We're nearly halfway through June (WHAT??) and I'm still busy as a mofo.  The first draft of my novel is 99% complete, but I'm not throwing a Tequila celebration just yet because I already know a couple of chapters that I want to re-tool before I sit down for the serious-official-for-realz-second-draft editing.  The serious-official-for-realz-second-draft will however be done after that Tequila celebration because I've never worked so fucking hard in my life and I'm splurging on some damn Patron as recompense.

Speaking of Patron, this is a perfect segue to today's post in which I share a bit of the awesomeness that I mentioned working on last month.

I'm primarily a writer (and even that's arguable), but I dabble in graphic design.  In addition to finishing my book last month, I did a ton of graphic designing.  For starters, if you look around Kat O' Nine Tales, you may notice that I've cleaned up the layout and graphics a lot.  The updated version of the header was the major change, but I also reformatted a few icons that were off--which I'm sure that no one else noticed, but irked the shit out of me.  While I was about it I added icons linking to my Google+ and Pinterest profiles.  I've no clue really what I'm doing on either of those, but there you have it.  My favourite graphic addition though, is the **NEWNEWNEW** graphic that I made.

I know that I made it myself, but I love it so fucking much!  I made it into a button on the side there, but after I had previewed it on Twitter, a few people asked me if I was going to put the image on a t-shirt.  You bet I did!  I put it on the available drinkware, too.  You can check it all out at My Zazzle Store OR click on the new tab at the top "Kat O' Nine SALES" which takes you to my **NEWNEWNEW** storefront at Cafepress.  I'm doing both for now because each one has something that the other does not.  (One major cookie goes to Cafepress for not making you change filter setting to see shit.)

In addition to setting up another store, and doing all of these graphics for myself, I also designed a graphic for my dear Jewels.

So now ya'all have learned something new about me since I never really stated that I do graphic design, and it just so happens that I received the "Tell Me About Yourself" award from Miss Priscilla Petunia Puffington III over at Mayor Gia's place--(many thanks PPPIII, from one cat to another!) in which I need to share seven things about myself.  Six more now, huh?

Okay, 2-I had pink hair for over a year and I kind of miss it, 3-I walked down from the very top of the Eiffel Tower, hopping a few gates in the process, because I was tired of waiting for the elevator, 4-I haven't killed a man since 1984. 5-I like to talk in movie quotes. 6-I took way too long to write this 7-Number 4 is not true. (Interpret that as you will.)
